Grüezi!!
That is the Swiss German word for "hello" and was heard a lot as we passed the Swiss (read: the Swiss passed us) on the hike up Ebanalp.
This is a picture of a map of where we hiked.
We started on the bottom left, "Wasserauen" and hiked up to the Seealpsee (literally, LakeAlpLake), backtracked a little, and followed path number 8 to Ebanalp (which is on the mid-upper right of the map).
Yes, I was the slowest. Yes, I felt like I was dying most of the time. Part of that was the breathtaking views! The weather was perfect and God blessed our eyes with His stunning creation.
Most of this blogpost will just be photos, because God's handiwork can speak for itself. For me, it was such a challenge, but worth it.
It wasn't just getting to the top of the Alp.
The hike was the experience.
The photos with a lake is the Seealpsee(middle left) and all of the others are along the hike. ALSO, make sure you scroll side to side or click on the pictures. I put them up at original size.
This last photo was at the bottom of the mountain, where we started. You could walk in the stream to cool down and boy was it FREEZING. :)

Amazing photos, Aubrey!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Andrew! God blessed the school with such a gorgeous day.
